Happy Adoption Stories

I Rescued A Human Today

Stuart's Happy Tail

Peace on Earth and Goodwill to all Living Creatures
Cubby was brought to IACC Halloween night, we're not sure what his story is but his condition tells a tale of long term neglect and possible abuse. He came in with a very serious head wound right between his eyes, which had been left unattended for quite some time.
Because of long term neglect he was extremely dirty, matted, covered in fleas and ear mites. His nails are extremely brittle and he will need his teeth cleaned and may need some extractions due to poor nutrition.

Update - Cubby is doing very well recovering from his surgery to repair his salivary gland. He still needs to have surgery to be neutered and he has one undescended testicle so the surgery is a little more difficult. He will be scheduled for this surgery some time after the first of the year. He's going to need to have his teeth cleaned and will probably need some to them extracted.
Wow, the poor little guy has sure been through a lot. But we are so happy that he is with us so he can get the care he needs.
