HOME SWEET HOME!

If you would like to send a story and picture of your adoption please do.

Nellie & her mom
Oliver was adopted to the same home as Pedro & Denver
Denver with his new friends ready for Christmas
Pedro was with us a very long time, now look at his happy home

His new name is Buddy. He is very sweet and seems to love everyone.

I can't imagine life without Angel (formerly "Lillian"). She aced all her training classes and she communicates so well that she is a pleasure to be with. She is not only bright, but loving and funny as well! She frequently watches TV with me, and admires herself in the mirror. When she isn't curled up on my lap, she is likely to be lounging on our big bed
Wanted to let you know William (now Colby) is doing really well. He is on 3 meds for his heart and one week a month gets antibiotics to keep his teeth from being infected. He loves sleeping in our bed and dances every night by the bed to get in. He also loves going bye-bye and barks and runs in circles at the truck when he gets to go. William came to us after life in a puppy mill - look at him now!

I renamed her Abby, and she has already become the queen of the house. She is the boss. She is a GREAT little lady. Thank you again so much. You are truly a great lady for the work you do.
(originally Santa, now Josie) We are enjoying her so much! She has alot of energy, but when she wares down, she is very sweet and cuddly. Jan 2012
We just want to say THANK YOU for allowing us to adopt this fabulous puppy, who is now named Tucker, back in August 2011. He is the perfect fit for us and has added so much enjoyment and love to our home!

Fonzie came from a life of puppy mill, afraid of most people but if he loves you he LOVES you - happy and in love at home now
Jag (formerly Buffy) is fitting in wonderfully with our family. When we visited with her she was very timid and we werent sure how she would transition into our upbeat life. After meowing at us a few times, we asked to see Jag. He instantly started purring and laying in our arms like jello. We knew that he had picked us. We are so happy with our desicion and wouldnt trade him for the world.
JR & Lexi came to us with 2 more Chihuahuas - they are in their new home now and snuggled up
Offenhauser, (formerly Jingles) named after a type of racing engine because he purrs when you touch, has been a joy. He came to us through the adoption program with Pet Smart back in March. He makes us laugh and keeps us on our toes. His favorite activity when he is not sleeping is running from one end of the house to the other.   As you can see from the photos, we don't spoil him at all! His own blankets, bed and toys from one end of the house to the other. His favorite ones though are the rings from the milk jug.  He has been a challenge at times, but has learned when we pick up the water bottle, he stops his current activity without even squirting the bottle. He picked up on that after only one time of having to use this tactic when he tried to get on the table.

First and foremost, I want to thank you for letting us adopt this amazing little dog. She has been a wonderful little addition to our family. I don’t think you could’ve given us a more perfect match. She is AMAZING!! Her new name is Pippa!
our wonderful kitten we adopted from you in August. We are calling him Sunny. He has brought so much joy into our home! Everyone loves him, including our formerly grumpy old male cat. Sunny is such a sweet, loving boy. Thank you so much for caring for him.
We adopted Dwight in March 2011. He is now Louie and he has been such a joy. He's definitely become the "king of the castle!" We can't say THANK YOU enough for caring for him and for all that you do to save the lives of so many who are seemingly overlooked or given up on - without you, we wouldn't have our Louie!
Thank you for everything you do to help these little animals.  And especially for what you have done to help Twink and Crunch.  It takes a special person to be able to do what you do.  We cannot imagine them not in our lives.  7/11

Just wanted to thank you for allowing me to adopt Risa. I've already begun shaping her into my new dog model so who knows, she might be famous one day! She's the perfect fit I was hoping for personality wise, and will have a long and happy life with us. Thank you again!
Milli and Ellie are so.. o cute together. My husband is over any objections he may have had except for the potty business. If there is a lap available, Ellie wants to be on it. Millie has been pretty jealous and would not lap sit with Ellie unless she’s on the lap first. It is great fun walking them together and to see Ellie’s reaction to everything along the way and watching what Millie does. All the neighbors love to see our ladies on their walks.
Wilbur our new little comedian who we love so much
This little kitten Leon saw us through the glass and came running. He had obviously chose us and we were being adopted. He has brought such joy to our lives. He is such a good little boy and we are lucky to have him.
I renamed her Abby, and she has already become the queen of the house. She is the boss. She is a GREAT little lady. Thank you again so much. You are truly a great lady for the work you do. Oct 2011
Buddy and his new day chilling on the couch.
I have attached a recent picture of our loving pup, Stella. We adopted her in April of this year and couldn't imagine our lives without her. She is such a great puppy, so well-behaved and listens very well. She is great with our 5 year old son and he loves her so much. Thank you for giving our family such a loving puppy and long-time family member.
My wife and i adopted Sky ( aka Mulligan) two weeks ago and just wanted to let you know he is doing wonderful. We take him for walks every day and he loves to ride in the van, which is good when we head for Florida this winter. He is a very loving dog and we hope to spoil him every chance we get. November 2011
Mollie (Jellybean) is doing great, She is the most wonderful puppy anyone could ever ask for. She loves talking showers with me, even when she isn't invited.  I just recently had surgery and she has not left my side since I got home from the hopsital. She sleeps with me, eats with me, and goes everywhere with me too. She plays well with the cat, they are like two peas in a pod. I just want to say thank you for bringing me to meet such a wonderful little puppy, she is my whole world. We will definately be seeing you guys again here in a few months once we get to the house to adopt a puppy to be Mollie's friend! :)   May 2011

We named our little man, "Woody the Cat" because somehow, "John" wasn't working for us! :) I brought Woody home in his new kennel and was absolutely shocked that he came right out  and started playing with our overbearing dog and checking out his new house. He never tried to hide or appeared scared at all. I would never have imagined our transition to be as easy as it was! He fits right into our family and it is like he has always been with us. I am attaching a photo of literally, the first moment he got out of the kennel, and one from about a week ago where he is already enjoying our breakfast nook table as if he owns the place.

I wanted to send you a picture of Pickles the Pug that I adopted from you earlier this year. Her new name is T-Bone and she is doing GREAT! She has been such a joy to our family she is a super happy dog! 5/10
Tessa, formerly Meezy, was very timid and terribly frightened by any kind of noise for about the first week. She is a truly delightful little dog who gets along well with everyone, human or animal. Tessa is always affectionate and only barks at the doorbell or what she perceives as intruders in the yard. 6/10
We just want to thank you all for helping us adopt little Puff. She is on my lap as I write this content as can be.  She is calm quiet and only barks when someone knocks on the door, very different than her behaviour at the shelter.  She is smart little girl and I hope she is half as happy  with us as we are with her.  She is now Purl (or as I call her....Minnie Purl).  She comes when called, even thought there isn't much need to call since she always wants to be where we are. I myself am not a fan of tiny little dogs...which Purl definitely is. well tiny in size yet big in heart and personality! What more could you want?  thank you for all you do to find these creatures homes. We never would have thought 2 weeks ago that we would have another pet, let alone one that seems to fit in like she has been here forever
wanted to say thank you first, for all of your acts of kindness and selflessness as you continue your wonderful mission of rescuing animals. I will always feel so much gratitude towards you for allowing me to adopt my great companion, Sassy. I am looking at her right now as she lays in her doggy bed, asleep and happy. August 2010
We wanted to let you know what an absolute joy our puppy, Pearl (she was Tahiti there) has been to our family!!  She is so loving and funny!  She adores us and our black Lab, and we adore her, too!  Pearl has such a funny personality unlike any dog I've ever had.  Since the day we brought her home, she makes a purr/moaning sound of contentment. She also has a teddy bear that she took out of my son's room and claimed it as her own.   She snuggles with her bear and even grooms it.  Dec 2010

Tia & Lizzy relaxing happily in their new home! 2010
Sadie is my pride and joy! Def. a mommy's girl and so spoiled by mommy and grandma and grandpa! She has taken a liking to water bottles for toys. She is terrified of the windshield wipers though. She's the best friend a girl could ask for! Thanks Again!! 2011
