Here are some upcoming events and opportunities that we need volunteers to help with. If you are interested, contact Robin Kennedy at 317.294.5259 or rmkennedy56@comcast.net.

Upcoming Events

Qdoba’s – on June 5th both Qdoba locations in Greenwood will be sponsoring a fundraiser for Southside. A percentage of your bill will be donated to the shelter and they are going to hand out flyers for the Cat Adopt-a-thon. So please plan on going to Qdoba for lunch or dinner and tell all your friends.

Cat Adopt-a-Thon

Saturday, June 7th 9 a.m. to noon. We need volunteers to work at the event and set up and tear down. June is Adopt a Shelter Cat month.

Starbucks – we will be partnering with Starbucks again this year to raise money and awareness. I’ll have dates soon.

The Original Circle City Corvette Club

Sunday, July 20th at the Marion County Fairgrounds

We will need volunteers to help with adoptions and hand out information. The Original CCCC will help raise funds for Southside by donating a portion of the entry fee to the car show, a silent auction and other possible activities. This will be a great opportunity to raise money and awareness for our pets.

Walk a Hound, Lose a Pound

Southside hopes to partner with this group to help showcase some of our adoptable pets. They are currently in the process of scheduling their events and you can find out more about them at http://www.walkahound.org/. Once they are scheduled we will need people to transport dogs to and from the event. We will also need people to transport and supervise puppies and to help screen potential adopters and fill out adoption paperwork. More info on this will be coming soon.
